Sugarbowl challenge 6 - Mothers Day

There is a new challenge at the sugarbowlblog and of course I had to join! This time you have to make something (card or something else) you know a mother would love.
I made this notebook and used my loved Annies from Leanne Ellis. Part of my prize for winning the previous challenge will be spent buying some new Annies!

This is the front:

This is the inside:

These are just papers bought at a store here (Hema) and cut to size.

Sugarbowl challenge 5 - Christmas

Yeah, you read it correctly...Christmas. The newest sugarbowl challenge is to make a christmas card. Unfortunately I don't own any sugar nellie christmas stamps (yet ;)), so I decided to use this wintery stamp: hug in a mug. This card turned out quite big, but I love it!
The trees are from a flourishes set and the little camp fire is from Magnolia.

Sugar Bowl - Challenge 4 - One

I joined the sugarbowl again, where there is a fantastic price to be won!
This time you had to make a card using just one sheet of designer paper. I picked this Basic Grey Offbeat paper with the cute little birds. I also inked Daisy up for the first one, love this stamp! I used some cardstock and my cuttlebug embossing folder.
The sentiment is Whiff of Joy.
I am really happy with how this card turned out.

Sugar Sugar

I also joined the challenge at 'Sugar Sugar' where we had to make a tag card, designed by Tiets.
This is my card. I used 'Nuts', which I had to buy...since squirrels used to be my favourite animal. I left the inside pretty blank, since I loved this paper and didn't want to cover up to much of it!

Sugarbowl challenge 3 - Love and Romance

I joined in again with the sugarbowlchallenge, where this time we had to make something 'love and romance' themed :).
I dug out Luvvie again (I love this stamp, it's so versatile!) and made this cute Valentines bookmark.
Paper is SEI, ricrac is Maya Road and the hearts stamp is from Magnolia. I cut everything out using my nestabilities. Love those!!

Friday Sketchers 36

I managed to join again this week! I don't really like torn papers...so I changed it up a bit....and since I don't own oval nesties yet, I changed the oval to a rectangle.
The stamp is a sugar nellie, paper is basic grey. The ribbon and stars are maya road. I colored her up with my copics.

SugarBowl Challenge 2

I joined the challenge this time, where it is all about threes....
Three patterned paper, three kind of embellishments...and preferably three stamps.
I used three stamps, but had to use one twice...since I didn't have three matching Sugar Nellie stamps (yet ;)).
The patterned papers are the dresses of the cute girls, the brown border and the punched out hearts. The pink panels behind the stamps I made by inking up my cuttlebug embossing folder (inside) with worn lipstick distress ink, add in the paper, roll through the cuttlebug and this is the result. I believe I found this technique on papercraftplanet. I love it!!

Friday Sketchers 34

This week I joined Friday Sketchers for the first time....had been planning on doing it before, but had trouble finding time to create within a week.
Yesterday I received a few Sugar Nellie stamps from Funky Kits and I loved the one used on the card so much I immediately attached ez-mount to it and created this card.

Here's the sketch:

And here is my card:

I also entered it for the Valentine Card Contest on Basicgrey.com, where the winner will receive a bittersweet package.
